What will my child be doing at All-Stars?

All-Stars is all about giving children the best first experience of the sport, with an emphasis on fun!

Children will learn fundamental movement skills including catching, throwing and batting. Soft balls and plastic bats are used by everyone and all participants are given their very own cricket bag full of everything they need to play the game.

Every child will earn stars in their own activity booklet that matches the skills learned during the programme:

  • Throwing – underarm and overarm

  • Catching – small and large balls

  • Bowling – overarm

  • Running – lots of movement

  • Teamwork – fun games with friends

EHCC Warriors Teams

East Huntspill Cricket has entered 2x Youth 'Warriors' teams into the Taunton Deane Youth Cricket League (TDYCL), both of which will feature in league structures playing 16 over-pairs cricket games. These games are played on fixed days for both teams (Under 11 & Under 13). Fixtures and locations for each game can be found in the links below.

Under 11 & 13 pairs cricket games feature hardball cricket balls so players are required to use cricket protective equipment. EHCC do hold limited resources of child/youth protective equipment including Pads, Gloves & Helmets, however, it is encouraged that equipment is purchased. & made available for each child. Each player is also required to wear cricket whites. EHCC will provide each playing child with an EHCC-branded Warriors shirt for each game. This is then handed back at the end of each game so it can be washed.

The fixture fee for each child is £3.00. This is to cover all the costs of the running of both teams.
